Walmart is recalling a specific lot of Great Value Organic Triple Berry Blend frozen berries because they may be contaminated with E. coli O145.

The recalled 10-ounce bags contain strawberries, blackberries and blueberries and were sold at select Walmart stores in 16 states.

The recall is part of a broader investigation into an E. coli outbreak that has sickened 17 people in Florida and Georgia, with six requiring hospitalization.

No illnesses have been specifically linked to the recalled Walmart berries so far, but consumers are being urged not to eat them, USA Today has reported.

Customers should check their freezers and either throw away the affected berries or return them to Walmart for a refund.
