A third man, 45-year-old Eric Clark, was arrested and charged with murder in connection with the death of 29-year-old Tasia Fortune in Jackson, Mississippi.

Police said an autopsy investigation determined that the scene where Fortune was found hanging from a tree had been staged.

Clark’s arrest follows murder charges against Earnest Lloyd Jr. and Jarques Ratliff, who were also accused in connection with Fortune’s death.

Investigators believe Fortune was killed elsewhere and that her body was placed at the Jackson location two to three days before it was discovered, The Guardian has reported.

Police have released few details about the circumstances of her death but said they are continuing to investigate whether additional people were involved.
