According to reports, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, a Republican from Florida, may have had her military records leaked to a Democratic opposition research firm by the U.S. Air Force. This adds to the ongoing scandal involving the Department of Defense.

On Monday, Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, a freshman congresswoman from Florida, accused the Air Force of being responsible for the alleged leak of her private military records to a Democratic opposition research firm, as reported by Fox News.

She also criticized the Air Force for not responding to her official inquiries seeking clarification regarding the series of leaks that has affected several other Republican lawmakers and former candidates.

“The USAF leaked information of USAF candidates in the 2022 midterms to a DEMOCRAT OPPO research firm,” Luna tweeted Monday. “Yes, I also have reason to believe my records were leaked. This is likely going to be a criminal investigation,” she added.

Nearly a dozen Republican lawmakers and former candidates have reported being affected by the Air Force’s release of military information without authorization.

Many of the records seem to have been requested by and provided to an opposition research firm that was paid by the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC), the campaign arm for House Democrats.
