On Sunday, another fatal shooting occurred at a popular Miami spring break destination, causing panic among vacationers. Shocking surveillance footage captured the incident, showing crowds of people walking under umbrellas around 3:30 a.m, the New York Post reported.

Suddenly, a gunman appears and begins firing shots. The startled tourists can be seen taking cover and running away from the scene. The victim eventually falls to the ground, while the shooter continues to fire at him before running away from the bloody scene.

Authorities later identified the suspect as Dontavious Leonard Polk, a 24-year-old resident of Fort Lauderdale. As of Sunday night, Polk was in police custody and had been charged with first-degree murder.

Just two days prior, a shooting incident had occurred in the same area, resulting in one death and another injury. The gun violence caused chaos as people fled from restaurants and clubs onto the crowded streets.

Upon investigation, authorities discovered four firearms at the scene and took one person into custody, but no further information has been released, as reported by the New York Post.

Following the incidents, the city of Miami enforced a strict curfew on Sunday night, prohibiting partygoers and tourists in South Beach from being outside between 11:59 p.m. and 6 a.m. on Monday.

Miami Beach police officers were observed enforcing the curfew, which does not apply to local residents, people commuting to and from work, emergency services, and hotel guests.
