According to a Rasmussen Reports poll released on Monday, the majority of Americans believe that the United States is headed in the wrong direction.

The survey, which was conducted from April 9-13, revealed that 61 percent of respondents believe the country is on the wrong track, while 35 percent feel it is heading in the right direction.

The remaining five percent are unsure, Breitbart News reported.

A noteworthy finding is that Democrats are divided in their opinion regarding the direction of the country under President Biden’s leadership, with 47 percent believing that the country is heading in the right direction and an equal percentage believing that it is on the wrong track.

In contrast, the majority of Republicans and Independents, specifically 72 percent and 65 percent, respectively, believe that the country is heading in the wrong direction.

The survey also revealed that half of the respondents, across all political affiliations, at least somewhat disapprove of President Biden’s job performance, while 48 percent approve to some extent.

The majority of Republicans and Independents expressed their disapproval of Biden’s job performance.
