The sentiment toward the president’s actions on contentious issues such as gun policy and immigration is similarly grim, with only 31% expressing approval.

Overall, approximately 40% of respondents approve of Biden’s overall job performance, which aligns with his approval rating for a significant portion of the past year and a half.
