
During a Faith & Freedom Coalition event, former President Trump addressed the indictments he has received in two separate investigations, describing them as a “great badge of courage.”
Speaking at the Road to the Majority Police Conference, Trump referred to the indictments as a result of the actions of the “radical left Democrats, Marxists, communists, and fascists.,” The Hill reported.
He expressed his perspective, stating, “Every time they indict me, I consider it a great badge of courage.”
Trump asserted that he perceives himself as being indicted on behalf of the more than 200 million people who love their country.
These remarks were made several weeks after he faced a federal indictment related to the handling of classified documents found at his Mar-a-Lago resort. T
he indictment accuses him of retaining classified documents at his Florida club and attempting to impede federal officials from recovering them.
Trump has pleaded not guilty to all 37 charges in this case.
Additionally, he is also confronted with a separate indictment stemming from a probe overseen by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg (D).
This investigation pertains to Trump’s alleged involvement in hush money payments made to an adult film actress during the 2016 presidential campaign.
