President Joe Biden conveyed to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu his dissatisfaction with Israel’s recent strike that resulted in the death of seven World Central Kitchen aid workers and the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza, deeming it “unacceptable.”

During the call, Biden emphasized the need for Israel to take concrete steps to minimize civilian harm and ensure the safety of aid workers, urging progress towards a ceasefire.

The White House highlighted that U.S. policy towards Gaza would be influenced by Israel’s response to these concerns, with implications suggested regarding future military aid, NBC News has reported.

Despite the stern message, Biden reassured Netanyahu of his enduring support for Israel.
