Israel urgently evacuates embassies as diplomats fear Iranian revenge strikes

Israel has placed its embassies worldwide on high alert and advised officials to avoid public appearances amid fears of potential retaliation from Iran.

Itay Blumental, a reporter for Israeli media outlet Channel 11, shared this information on social media, stating that Israeli embassy staff have been relocated to alternative sites as a precaution.

This move follows an Israeli strike on the Iranian embassy in Damascus, Syria, which resulted in casualties, the Daily Express reported.

The CIA has warned that Iran could retaliate within 48 hours. In response, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have intensified readiness, halting leave for combat units and emphasizing the seriousness of the situation.

Iran has criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu for ordering the strike, accusing him of losing “his mental balance” and violating diplomatic norms and international treaties.
