In Hunter Biden’s criminal trial, jurors examined the .38 caliber Colt revolver he purchased in October 2018 and reviewed Form 4473, the key firearms transaction record.
They also heard testimony from Gordon Cleveland, a former store clerk, who described watching Biden check “no” to a question about drug use.
Federal prosecutors contend that Biden was heavily addicted to crack at the time and accuse him of lying on the form, The Hill has reported.
Biden faces three felony charges: lying to a gun dealer, falsely claiming he was not a drug user, and illegally possessing the gun for 11 days.
He has pleaded not guilty, arguing that he is being unfairly targeted due to political pressure from Republicans.
