British counterterrorism police arrested eight more people over suspected arson attacks in London, including seven linked to a foiled plot targeting a Jewish community venue.
Authorities said the exact target is still unknown, but the arrests are part of an ongoing investigation into a possible conspiracy.
The case follows a March attack in Golders Green where ambulances outside a synagogue were set on fire, with multiple suspects already charged.
Police are also investigating whether individuals were paid to carry out the attacks as criminal proxies, CNN has reported.
Officials and community leaders have warned of a growing pattern of violence and intimidation against the UK’s Jewish community.
