Prince Harry made an unannounced visit to Kyiv to show support for Ukraine as the war with Russia continues into its fifth year.

He said it was important not to lose sight of Ukraine’s role in defending Europe despite global attention shifting elsewhere.

During the trip, he is attending a security conference in the capital.

He is also expected to visit the HALO Trust and meet Ukrainian participants in the Invictus Games program, NBC News has reported.

This marks his third visit to Ukraine, following two trips last year.
