Wisconsin official cries foul alleging FBI showed up at front door of county election director’s home

Milwaukee County Clerk George Christenson said an FBI agent visited the home of the county’s election director and left a business card, which he criticized as an inappropriate way to initiate contact.

He said officials would follow up on the visit but defended Wisconsin’s handling of the 2020 presidential election as fair, transparent, and repeatedly validated through audits and court reviews.

Christenson warned that continuing to challenge the results undermines public trust in elections and insisted election workers should not be subjected to intrusive tactics.

The FBI did not comment on the incident, and the purpose of the visit remains unclear, Fox News has reported.

The report comes amid broader national scrutiny and ongoing federal investigations into aspects of the 2020 election process in multiple states.
