The White House physician said President Donald Trump is in “excellent health” and fully fit to perform his duties following his latest medical exam at Walter Reed, his third in-person checkup in 13 months.
The report stated that his cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and cognitive tests were all normal, including a perfect score on a cognitive screening.
Doctors noted he is being treated for cholesterol and heart health, while preventive screenings and vaccinations are up to date.
The memo also addressed minor issues such as bruising on his hands and leg swelling, attributing them to aspirin use, frequent handshaking, and a common circulation condition that has improved, NBC News has reported.
At nearly 80 years old, Trump remains the oldest person to assume the presidency and continues to publicly insist he is in strong health.
