Russia has accused Ukraine of carrying out a drone strike on a bus transporting Belarusian schoolchildren in the Bryansk region, claiming the attack killed one adult and injured eight others, including six children.
Russian officials described the incident as a deliberate attack on civilians and opened a terrorism investigation.
Ukraine’s military denied the allegation, stating that its forces did not conduct drone operations in the area during the reported time.
Belarus said two victims were in serious condition and announced plans to airlift all injured citizens home, while also demanding an explanation from Ukraine, Reuters has reported.
The incident could not be independently verified, and both Russia and Ukraine continue to deny intentionally targeting civilians.
