Police in Hungary are investigating a 30-year-old hospital porter in Budapest who is suspected of collecting and storing human body parts in his apartment.
During a search, officers reportedly found bones, skulls, a preserved face, and other human remains.
The suspect allegedly admitted to being fascinated by human body parts and told investigators he had cooked and consumed some of them.
Authorities believe he obtained some remains from his workplace and exhumed others from cemeteries in Hungary and neighboring Slovakia, DPA International has reported.
He was arrested on June 17 and remains under judicial supervision while prosecutors investigate possible offenses related to disturbing the dead.
