Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukrainian forces struck Russia’s Ufa oil refinery for the second time in a week, along with a missile component plant in the Penza region, as part of efforts to disrupt Russia’s military supply chain.
Russia did not confirm the attacks but said it intercepted 179 Ukrainian drones across multiple regions.
Ukrainian officials say repeated strikes on Russian energy infrastructure have contributed to fuel shortages and weakened Russia’s logistics.
Meanwhile, Paul Jonson reaffirmed Sweden’s support for Ukraine, including an agreement to provide Gripen fighter jets and backing for Ukraine’s Euro-Atlantic integration, the AP has reported.
Russian attacks on Ukraine also continued, killing at least three civilians in the Kherson and Dnipropetrovsk regions.
