Four Seattle teenagers were arrested following a gas station shooting and robbery in Northeast Portland on Friday morning.
Police said an employee was shot five times during a struggle with armed suspects but is expected to survive.
Investigators quickly tracked the suspects’ vehicles and later detained 12 people during a SWAT operation, recovering four firearms.
Authorities said the teens were also linked to several other violent crimes, including robberies, a carjacking, and an incident where a victim was threatened with a gun, KATU 2 has reported.
Police praised the investigation, noting that multiple suspects were in custody less than 19 hours after the shooting.
