Tulsi Gabbard’s brother arrested after attempting to entice kids back to his hotel room

Tulsi Gabbard’s older brother, Bhakti Gabbard, was arrested in Hawaii after allegedly attempting to lure children into his hotel room with money and gum.

Police said he approached several children at a Waikīkī hotel pool and asked them to accompany him, but they refused and a witness reported the incident.

Gabbard was charged with second-degree custodial interference and later taken for a psychiatric evaluation after his family described recent erratic behavior and mental health struggles.

His family said he had been experiencing a crisis, including homelessness and substance use concerns, and asked for support while he receives treatment, the Daily Mail has reported.

Authorities continue to investigate the allegations, while Gabbard’s family says they are focused on his recovery.
