Colt Gray, 16, pleaded guilty to all 55 charges, including murder, for the 2024 shooting at Apalachee High School in Georgia that killed four people and injured others.

Gray was 14 at the time of the attack and was charged as an adult, with sentencing expected to determine whether he will receive life in prison with or without parole.

Families of the victims and survivors shared emotional statements, calling for the harshest possible punishment.

The shooting killed two teachers, Richard Aspinwall and Cristina Irimie, and two students, Mason Schermerhorn and Christian Angulo, the BBC has reported.

Gray’s father was previously convicted for providing the rifle used in the attack, and Gray’s defense team plans to present testimony during the sentencing hearing.
