Ten killed in Russian attack on drone exhibition near Kyiv

At least 15 people were killed and around 100 injured in Russian attacks across Ukraine, including a ballistic missile strike on a drone technology exhibition near Kyiv.

Russia said it targeted the event because it involved Ukraine’s defense industry, while Ukrainian officials condemned the attack and launched an investigation into the event’s security.

Additional Russian strikes killed civilians in eastern and northern Ukraine, while President Volodymyr Zelensky warned that another large-scale missile attack could be imminent.

Ukraine also carried out long-range strikes inside Russia, targeting a military-related factory and logistics facilities, the BBC has reported.

As fighting intensifies, Zelensky is expected to travel to the United States next week for talks aimed at reviving peace negotiations.
