At least 16 people were killed in Russia and 11 in Ukraine as both countries continued exchanging drone and missile attacks, according to local officials.

Russian authorities reported fatalities in the Moscow region, Krasnodar, Belgorod, and Russian-occupied Crimea, while Ukraine said attacks in the Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia regions killed civilians, including children.

Russia also claimed its forces captured two settlements in Ukraine’s Kharkiv region.

Ukraine targeted Russian infrastructure, including warehouses linked to the e-commerce company Wildberries, which President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has accused of supporting Russia’s war effort, Al-Jazeera has reported.

Meanwhile, Zelenskyy continues seeking stronger U.S. air defense support, although President Donald Trump has reportedly backed away from plans to allow Ukraine to manufacture Patriot interceptor missiles.
