Dozens of people ransacked a business in Bellflower, California, early Saturday while a large street takeover blocked a nearby intersection.

Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputies said about 100 to 150 vehicles filled the roadway, preventing them from immediately reaching the business.

Investigators found that three suspects used power tools to break through a window and security gate, allowing 30 to 40 additional people to enter and steal merchandise.

The group remained inside for about two minutes before fleeing into the street-takeover crowd, with total losses estimated at nearly $30,000, KTLA 5 has reported.

No arrests have been made in the burglary, although deputies issued citations related to the illegal street takeover and warned that such events can lead to dangerous driving and other criminal activity.
