The body of 63-year-old Alisa Goods, a missing grandmother from New York City, was found near Harry Reid International Airport in Las Vegas, police said Friday.

Security footage showed Goods falling down an embankment and collapsing in an area hidden from the nearby roadway, where her body was later discovered in a drainage ditch.

Goods had been visiting a friend in Las Vegas and was reported missing on Aug. 8 while reportedly heading to a pharmacy.

After her disappearance, relatives received messages requesting bitcoin or CashApp payments, but police believe scammers may have used spoofing technology to send the texts from Goods’ phone number, NBC News has reported.

Authorities have not yet confirmed the cause or manner of death, while Goods’ family expressed grief and thanked the public for their support.
