Two former Phoenix police officers, Luis Vasquez Jr. and Antonio Felix, have been arrested and charged with multiple felonies after allegedly conducting an unreported traffic stop and violently assaulting a man and woman.

The victims told investigators that the officers punched them, restrained them and used a stun gun during the Aug. 5 incident, with one allegedly threatening the man with a handgun.

The woman said she was handcuffed and forced to the ground before the officers allegedly released her and warned, “We know where you live now.”

Phoenix Police Chief Matt Giordano fired both officers and said they have been charged with offenses including aggravated assault, aggravated robbery, kidnapping, threatening and intimidating, and tampering with evidence, ABC News has reported.

The officers were working while on duty and did not activate their body cameras, and authorities are continuing to investigate the alleged incident and whether others were involved.
