British Prime Minister Andy Burnham said the UK will help Ukraine produce its own long-range missiles by sharing classified technical information about British-made components used in SCALP missiles.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Ukraine will pursue diplomatic talks with Russia over attacks in the Black Sea while strengthening air defenses in the region.

Zelenskyy urged allies to provide additional air-defense systems, including Patriot missiles, before winter and asked partners to help cover a €27 billion defense funding gap for 2026.

European leaders met with Zelenskyy in Kyiv as part of the Coalition of the Willing, discussing further military support and ways to strengthen Ukraine’s defenses, The Guardian has reported.

During the gathering, Russian forces attacked the northern Ukrainian city of Chernihiv, with a drone striking an apartment building and injuring 18 people, including two children.
