Ford is updating its best-selling F-150 for 2027 with hands-free towing technology, new powertrain options and the first-ever Carhartt edition.
The new BlueCruise with Towing system will allow drivers to operate hands-free on more than 130,000 miles of compatible highways while towing trailers up to 10,000 pounds.
Ford is also introducing a standard 3.0-liter EcoBoost V6, bringing back the 5.0-liter V8 for King Ranch and Platinum models, and expanding its Tremor and Raptor offerings.
The new F-150 Carhartt package will be available on 4×4 XLT Crew Cab models with exclusive styling, interior accents, a branded spray-in bedliner and all-weather floor mats, Fox Business has reported.
Ford says the updates are designed around how customers use their trucks, including towing, hauling, off-road driving and everyday work.
