Authorities are investigating a possible new ransom note connected to the disappearance of Nancy Guthrie, who has been missing from her Arizona home for nearly eight months.

The Pima County Sheriff’s Department and FBI task force recently learned about the note and related social media posts and are working to determine whether they are credible.

Officials previously released two ransom notes sent to a Tucson television station, with one demanding $4 million in cryptocurrency and another claiming Guthrie had died.

No suspects have been arrested, and authorities have not confirmed whether Guthrie is still alive or determined how many people may have been involved in her disappearance, The Guardian has reported.

The FBI has also released surveillance footage showing a masked person apparently interfering with a camera outside Guthrie’s home, while her family continues to appeal for information.
