Foot Clan Ninjas? 5 spotted climbing out of sewer in New York City; no arrests

Five people were seen climbing out of a manhole on East 82nd Street on Manhattan’s Upper East Side around 2:10 a.m. Friday.

The group, which included at least one woman, reportedly left in a black SUV that was last seen heading toward East End Avenue.

Police and the city’s Department of Environmental Protection responded to the scene and recovered two shovels and two other tools.

No arrests have been made in the latest incident, which resembles a similar case last month involving two men from Queens, ABC News has reported.

The two men arrested previously were charged with trespassing and conspiracy and reportedly told detectives they entered the sewer system to search for valuables washed into storm drains.
