
According to the latest survey from the American Research Group, 46% of Americans approve of President Joe Biden’s job performance, while 49% disapprove.
This is a slight increase from February when 45% approved and 51% disapproved. In terms of Biden’s handling of the economy, 45% of Americans approve and 49% disapprove, which is a decline from February when 48% approved and 48% disapproved.
Among registered voters, 46% approve of Biden’s job performance, while 50% disapprove. On the economy, 45% of registered voters approve and 49% disapprove.
Of those who approve of Biden’s job performance, 73% believe the national economy will be better a year from now, while 84% of those who disapprove think it will be worse.
Additionally, 56% of those who approve believe their financial situation will be better a year from now, compared to 76% of those who disapprove who expect their financial situation to be worse.
The survey was conducted from March 17 to 20, 2023, with 1,100 completed interviews among a nationwide random sample of adults. The margin of error for the total sample is plus or minus 3 percentage points, 95% of the time, on questions where opinion is evenly split.
