iRobot says its new robot vacuum and mop outperforms 600 Series Roombas for $275

iRobot has introduced a budget-friendly 2-in-1 robot vacuum and mop, the Roomba Combo Essential, priced at $275.

Offering 20 times more suction power than the Roomba 600 Series, it boasts improved performance on hard floors, longer battery life, and smart navigation features.

Users can control it via voice commands or the iRobot Home app, with customizable settings and Clean Map reports. While not self-emptying, it’s a solid option at an attractive price.

Available initially in Europe, the Middle East, and Africa, it will launch in the US and Canada in April, with trade-in options for Roomba 600 Series owners, Engadget reported.

Additionally, iRobot is releasing the Roomba Vac Essential in North America for $250, lacking the mop function. iRobot also celebrates surpassing 50 million robot sales since debuting the Roomba in 2002.
