Social Security Payments Are Going Out Early for First Three Months of 2025

In early 2025, Supplemental Security Income (SSI) payments will be issued earlier than usual due to holidays.

Instead of being made on the first of the month, payments will be sent on the last day of the previous month.

For January, payments will be made on December 31. The SSA clarified that this does not mean duplicate payments.

If payments are not received as expected, recipients are advised to wait three working days before contacting the agency, Newsweek has reported.

SSI recipients will also receive other benefits in January based on their birthdates.
