A viral video from Warsaw showed a humanoid robot produced by Chinese firm Unitree apparently chasing wild boars as part of a humorous “boar-herding” scenario.
The robot, named Edward Warchocki, was actually part of a promotional stunt rather than a real wildlife control effort.
The clip gained millions of views online, with social media users joking about the machine’s attempts and calling it a futuristic solution to Europe’s growing wild boar problem.
Unitree’s humanoid robots have previously gone viral for similar stunts, including public performances and social media antics, the New York Post has reported.
However, the company’s machines have also drawn concern due to reported malfunctions and safety incidents during demonstrations.
