A Federal Aviation Administration employee, Dean DelleChiaie, 35, has been arrested in New Hampshire for allegedly threatening to kill President Donald Trump.
Prosecutors say he used a government computer to search topics related to assassinations, security breaches, and Trump, and later sent an email to the White House saying he intended to “neutralize/kill” the president.
Authorities also allege he searched for information on Vice President JD Vance and Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth and expressed political anger over the administration.
He reportedly admitted to the searches, said he was depressed, and acknowledged substance use and prior interest in assassination topics, CNBC has reported.
DelleChiaie is charged with interstate communication of a threat and faces up to five years in prison if convicted.
