Sudan has accused Ethiopia and the United Arab Emirates of involvement in recent drone attacks, warning it will not remain silent.
The government recalled its ambassador from Ethiopia, alleging drones launched from Ethiopian territory struck Khartoum International Airport and disrupted operations.
Ethiopia denied the claims as baseless and accused Sudan of backing the Tigray People’s Liberation Front, which also rejected any ties to Sudan.
The UAE has not responded but has previously denied supporting the Rapid Support Forces, a key party in Sudan’s ongoing conflict, Al-Jazeera has reported.
The war, which began in 2023, has caused massive devastation, with over 150,000 deaths and millions displaced, as drone warfare intensifies the crisis.
