A federal judge has unsealed a document described as an alleged suicide note written by Jeffrey Epstein, marking its first public release.

The note, reportedly found by Epstein’s cellmate in 2019 after an earlier suicide attempt, contains statements denying wrongdoing and expressing frustration but is unsigned and has not been authenticated.

Jeffrey Epstein was later found dead in his jail cell in 2019, with the official ruling listing his death as a suicide.

The document had been previously sealed as part of a separate legal case and was released following media reporting and a court petition, The Guardian has reported.

Officials have not confirmed authorship, and questions about the circumstances of Epstein’s death continue to fuel public debate and conspiracy theories.
