Two suspects, aged 17 and 15, have been arrested in connection with a series of up to 12 random shootings across Austin over the weekend that left four people injured.
Police say a possible third suspect is still at large after an extensive multi-agency search in nearby Manor that temporarily prompted shelter-in-place orders.
The shootings, which had no clear motive, occurred at locations including fire stations, homes, apartments, and stores, mostly in South and East Austin.
Authorities also say the suspects allegedly stole multiple vehicles and used a stolen firearm during the spree, ABC News KVUE has reported.
Officials confirmed that despite gunfire striking fire stations, no firefighters were injured and emergency services continue operating normally.
