Top Trump administration officials, Republican lawmakers, and prominent Christian leaders gathered on the National Mall for a large prayer rally marking the approach of America’s 250th anniversary.

The event, called “Rededicate 250,” featured speeches, worship music, and prayers emphasizing the idea of the United States as a nation rooted in faith and “under God.”

President Donald Trump, Vice President JD Vance, and several cabinet members and congressional leaders delivered messages highlighting prayer, Christianity, and national identity.

Faith leaders and public figures also spoke, encouraging Americans to renew their commitment to religion and thank God for the nation’s founding, Fox News has reported.

Organizers said the gathering is part of broader celebrations leading up to the country’s semiquincentennial on July 4, 2026.
