Andrew and Tristan Tate have been arrested in the United States as part of a UK investigation into alleged sexual offenses and human trafficking.

UK prosecutors requested their extradition after bringing dozens of new charges, including rape, assault, and trafficking-related offenses.

Authorities said the allegations involve seven victims and crimes reportedly committed between 2010 and 2017.

The brothers deny all accusations, with their lawyers calling the charges politically motivated and insisting they are innocent, The Guardian has reported.

Legal proceedings are now underway as British and U.S. authorities coordinate on the extradition process.
