Astronomers in Ukraine reported observing more than 20 unidentified objects near the Moon in 2025, claiming some showed unusual movement and brightness patterns.

The researchers suggested the objects could represent technologically advanced nonhuman craft, but their study has not been peer-reviewed and lacks independent confirmation.

The objects were captured using high-speed telescope cameras, with some appearing as large disc or ring-shaped structures based on light measurements.

Scientists acknowledged that the sightings could also be explained by natural phenomena, camera artifacts, or image-processing errors, the Daily Mail has reported.

NASA and U.S. officials said no evidence has confirmed extraterrestrial technology, while experts remain cautious about the researchers’ claims.
