Mike Lindell has refused to concede Minnesota’s Republican gubernatorial primary despite trailing Lisa Demuth by more than 45,000 votes.

The Associated Press called the race for Demuth, who received about 43.4% of the vote compared with Lindell’s 32.5%.

Lindell questioned the AP’s authority to declare a winner and said he would not give up until all votes were counted.

His campaign follows years of promoting false claims that the 2020 election was stolen, which have repeatedly been rejected by courts, The Guardian has reported.

Demuth, the first woman to win Minnesota’s Republican gubernatorial nomination, will face Democratic Sen. Amy Klobuchar in November.
