Three people were killed when a news helicopter crashed in Los Angeles’ San Fernando Valley on Tuesday night near the site of a deadly Metro bus crash.
The helicopter crashed between two commercial buildings, landing on shipping containers and several parked vehicles and starting a large fire.
Firefighters initially confirmed one death before determining that two additional people had also died at the scene.
A fourth victim was transported to a local hospital, though their condition was not immediately known, CBS News has reported.
The FAA, NTSB, and Los Angeles police are investigating the crash, including the helicopter’s identity and the circumstances that led to the accident.
