A 21-year-old Pennsylvania man, Jonathan Hunter Kramer, has been charged with obtaining a semiautomatic rifle and ammunition allegedly to carry out an attack on behalf of ISIS.
Federal investigators said Kramer promoted ISIS online, offered to share explosive manuals, and discussed preparing for what he called a future “mission.”
Kramer was arrested September 12 at a hotel in Cranberry Township following an FBI investigation that began in March.
Agents reportedly found multiple weapons and rifle ammunition at his hotel room and residence after his arrest, USA Today has reported.
Prosecutors are seeking to hold Kramer without bond, arguing that he poses a danger to the community while the case proceeds.
