The Israeli military has reported launching strikes on Syrian military targets in response to the firing of several rockets from Syria.

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) stated that a total of six rockets were fired towards Israel, with three crossing into Israeli territory and one landing in the Israeli-occupied Golan Heights. However, the IDF has not yet reported any damage to Israeli territory.

Following dozens of rockets fired from Lebanon into Israeli territory, Israel retaliated by launching strikes against Palestinian militant targets in southern Lebanon and Gaza early Friday, CNN reported.

The recent rocket attacks from Syria, with a total of six rockets launched and three crossing into Israeli territory, have resulted in the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) striking targets in Syrian territory.

This is the latest escalation in the ongoing conflict between Israel and neighboring countries.
