Police in Beaverton, Oregon, found the body of Melissa Jubane, a newlywed who vanished last week, and arrested her neighbor, Bryce Johnathan Schubert, on murder charges.

Jubane was reported missing on September 4 after failing to show up for work.

A search of her apartment revealed no signs of her, and her phone and bank records provided no leads, USA Today has reported.

Jubane had recently married in Hawaii in August. Police are withholding further details to maintain the investigation’s integrity, extending condolences to her family and friends.
