Far-right leaders from across Europe gathered in Milan for a rally organized by Italy’s Matteo Salvini and the Patriots for Europe, protesting immigration and EU bureaucracy.
The event drew thousands of supporters and featured speeches from figures such as Geert Wilders and France’s Jordan Bardella, while Hungary’s Viktor Orbán was notably absent after his recent electoral defeat.
Speakers warned about mass immigration and called for stronger national sovereignty within the European Union.
The rally took place under heavy police presence alongside counter-protests from anti-fascist groups, France 24 has reported.
Leaders at the event said they aimed to reshape EU politics through upcoming elections across Europe.
