Massive search continues for two missing American soldiers in Morocco

Two U.S. soldiers went missing during a training deployment in southern Morocco and are feared to have fallen into the ocean near seaside cliffs.

A large-scale search involving U.S., Moroccan, and allied forces is ongoing across land, air, and sea.

Officials say the incident appears to be an accident and is not related to terrorism.

The soldiers were participating in the multinational African Lion military exercise, which includes thousands of troops from over 20 countries, the AFP has reported.

Investigators believe the pair may have gone on a hike after training before they disappeared.
