A Georgia jury found 55-year-old Colin Gray guilty on all 27 charges, including second-degree murder and cruelty to children, for his role in the Sept. 4, 2024, Apalachee High School shooting carried out by his 14-year-old son, Colt Gray.
The teen allegedly used an AR-15-style rifle kept in the home by his father to kill two students and two teachers.
Prosecutors argued Colin Gray ignored warning signs, including his son’s obsession with school shooters and prior expressions of anger, and failed to secure the firearm.
The jury deliberated less than two hours before delivering the conviction, and sentencing has not yet been set; he could face life in prison, NBC News has reported.
Colt Gray remains in custody, with a trial date still pending.
