U.S. Military Death Toll Rises to 6

Two additional U.S. service members have been confirmed dead in the war with Iran, bringing the total American fatalities to six, according to United States Central Command.

Three troops were initially reported killed and five seriously wounded after an Iranian strike on a base in Kuwait; one of the wounded later died, and two previously missing troops were found dead in a struck facility.

The Defense Department is withholding the names of the fallen until families are notified.

Pete Hegseth acknowledged the losses at a Pentagon briefing, saying more casualties are likely, the New York Times has reported.

Dan Caine also warned that the United States expects to sustain additional losses as the conflict continues.
