Russia Sends 3 Tons Of Supplies To The ISS

Russia successfully launched its Progress 95 spacecraft on April 25 from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, sending nearly three tons of supplies toward the International Space Station.

The uncrewed cargo ship is carrying food, fuel, and equipment needed to support astronauts living and working in orbit.

It is scheduled to automatically dock with the ISS on April 27 as part of a carefully timed orbital approach.

The mission continues Russia’s regular role in ISS resupply efforts, alongside other international spacecraft that keep the station operational, the Daily Galaxy has reported.

After about seven months attached to the station, Progress 95 will be loaded with waste and deliberately deorbited to burn up in Earth’s atmosphere.
